Individual coverage in Colorado can be obtained through the exchange, Connect for Health Colorado, or directly from the insurance carriers. Rocky Mountain Benefits can assist you with both options. 

 Open Enrollment is currently closed. Starting January 15, 2020 there will be a limited number of times to enroll in a new health plan or make changes. The next open enrollment period will be November 1, 2020. 
 Below are the qualifying life events to trigger a special enrollment period. You will need to provide the carrier proof of your qualifying event or loss of coverage. 
​ - Birth/Adoption
 - Marriage / Divorce
 - Loss of employer-sponsored insurance
 - Loss of eligibility for Medicaid / CHP+
 - A valid court order mandating a child be covered
 - Involuntary loss of existing coverage

Individual health insurance options

    ​Open enrollment for 2020 coverage ended on January 15th. 

  If you're losing other coverage, you   will have 60 days to obtain an       

  individual policy.
